Art for Impact

Pathwise Art Partnership Program

At Art for Impact, our mission is to harness the transformative power of art to make a tangible difference in our community. In partnership with Pathwise, we are proud to unite local Montana artists, each with a profound passion for Western art, in a collective endeavor to support vital causes through their creative expressions.

Through Art for Impact, we aim to create a sustainable model of giving, where art becomes a powerful vehicle for change ensuring that every contribution made through Art for Impact is maximized for the benefit of our chosen causes. Our program serves as a testament to the belief that art can do more than inspire—it can act as a catalyst for positive change, bridging the gap between creativity and philanthropy. Our Pathwise Artists have graciously agreed to donate 20% of all proceeds from pieces sold through the Art for Impact program to charity.

Art for Impact embodies the spirit of community, creativity, and compassion. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of giving within the Montana art scene, empowering artists to make a lasting impact through their work, and inspiring others to join us in our mission to use art as a means to enrich lives and bring together our community.

Our Pathwise home office includes an exclusive in-office art gallery: a distinctive space where professionalism meets creativity. We are proud to present an art collection that not only enhances our office environment but also embodies our commitment to social responsibility through the Art for Impact initiative, in collaboration with our esteemed Pathwise Art Partners. Our gallery features an exquisite selection of pieces from our renowned local artists, each celebrated for their unique contributions to the realm of Western art.

We invite our clients to cocktail hours and other exclusive viewing events, offering you the privilege of experiencing these masterpieces up close. These events not only provide an opportunity for early access and the option to purchase these remarkable works of art but also allow you to be part of our pledge to donate 20% of all proceeds to charity. With every purchase, a portion of the proceeds is donated to charity, reinforcing our shared dedication to making a positive impact. This fusion of art and philanthropy underscores our company’s expertise and commitment to fostering a culture of giving, while providing a unique and enriching experience for our clients.

Meet Our Artists

Colt Idol

Lifetime Montana resident Colt Idol has always been enamored with “The West” and all that it represents. After an injury-plagued high school and collegiate basketball career Colt decided to pursue art full-time. With the guidance of his father, Dick Idol, renowned outdoor personality and artist, Colt was able to develop his abilities and advance his knowledge of art-he had undoubtedly found his passion.

Kira Fercho

Kira is a modern impressionistic oil painter who has training in Russian Impressionism and Western Tonalism. She paints what she knows: the land, the people, and the culture of the west, Montana in particular. You’ll find Kira’s paintings in 6 national galleries, 2 museums, and the White House. Kira’s work is promoted by Cowboys & Indians Magazine, Western Home Journal, and Big Sky Journal.

David Frederick Riley

David Riley is a gallery artist, portrait and wildlife painter, and illustrator. His painting is inspired by the universal narratives of the human condition, emotion and the similar elements that appear in Nature.

David works primarily in oil, contrasting contemporary color fields and abstract space with traditional handling of the human form. He uses color harmonies to showcase emotion and the vibrancy of life. His work frequently illustrates themes of emotional and spiritual growth.

David’s southwestern contemporary works are a unique approach to the wildlife and persons of the West: bison, longhorns, bears and iconic Native American figures. His palette is usually monochromatic, but the power of the imagery creates such an impression, that color is not missed.

He has just commenced a collection of cowboys. David has a BFA and MFA in Fine Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award.
